I self-published my first book, Washington Wide, with QinPrinting: 172 pages, hardcover, 500 copies of panoramic film photography, printed on Caidie coated art paper.

Nelson Zhao was my contact throughout, and he answered every technical question directly. When I asked about ink limits for Japan Color 2001 Coated, he recommended 290% total ink coverage for my shadow-heavy images and explained why. He offered two proofing options: a press test run of 8 pages, and inkjet hard proofs at $1 per page. I used both across three proof rounds. When a shipment of proofs came back wrong, it was corrected promptly.

Their designer checked every file before production, and Nelson explained each step of the process: PDF proofs, invoice, payment options with the fees laid out, production, and freight. He gave honest answers on timing, including the real odds of a customs inspection, rather than just reassurance.
Ten advance copies came by air, and the full run arrived in 41 boxes right on schedule. The books are beautiful, and the photographs are reproduced accurately.

I recommend QinPrinting to any photographer or publisher who cares about color, care and professionalism.

Interfacing with Irene was always a wonderful experience. She gave light to the behind-the-scene production processes that could not be seen. Base on the exceptional quality of her responses and impeccable diligence of her and her production team, at making sure that I got everything right, my card games MAPULANETI QUEUE 3 HUNDRED and MAPULANETI FOUR ADDS UP, were produced with the untouchable greatness. I could not have gotten a better production company team to support and provide the guidance that I really needed. They would not print my games until they made sure that I got it right. Nelson was really helpful throughout the whole process - from quote, to delivering the artwork files, all the way to delivery. We had some issues with the sea freight shipment being delayed, but a solution was found promptly. Communication was great from start to finish and the quality of the print was excellent, particularly for the price, which was far lower than any UK supplier.
